Samsung Galaxy A72 Cost (€449 and €509)
The Samsung Galaxy A72 has been in the news since late September 2020. It is supposed to come in two versions (4G, 5G) just like its predecessor Galaxy A71. According to a recent leak, only the LTE version will be first launched by the South Korean tech giant. This leak not only reveals all the specifications, but also the print renders as well as the amount.
New information on the Galaxy A72 4G is coming from Roland Quandt of WinFuture. This leak reveals two things about the phone that we didn’t hear about earlier. And that’s the telephoto camera and IP qualification.
Starting with the phone, the system can show a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels (FHD+), 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 90Hz refresh rate. The panel will also have an in-screen fingerprint sensor and a 32MP selfie camera focused punch hole.
A quad-camera system consisting of a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP 2x telephoto shooter, a 12MP ultra-wide unit, and a 2MP macro snapper will also be mounted on the back of the phone. Previously, this system has been stated to feature a penta-camera setup. Later, another study reported that there was no zoom module.
Interestingly, the Galaxy A72 4G will also be IP67 rated for dust and water resistance. Its younger sibling Galaxy A52 is also expected to have this feature. Other features of this smartphone include a plastic build, dual-SIM, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C port, microSD card slot, Android 11 (One UI 3.x), and a 25W fast-charging support 5,000mAh battery.
But sadly, while packing a punch, this phone will be powered by the year-old Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC whose output is close to the Snapdragon 730 present within the Galaxy A71 4G. As for colors, the handset will be available in black, white, blue, and purple.
Samsung Galaxy A72 4G is said to be retailing for €449 and €509 for 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB respectively.
